ChatGPT has been listed as the author or co-author of at least 200 books sold on Amazon's ebook store. The real number, however, is much higher, as current company policies do not require authors to disclose that they are using AI to write.
The news reinforces concerns that AI-generated writing could flood the literary market, taking over key creative roles amid a debate over the ethics and dubious accuracy of similar tools.
I can see people making a whole career out of it.

Another example affected a science fiction publication (“Clarkesworld Magazine”). The American magazine was forced to stop sending paid stories after receiving a flood of articles suspected of using AI, highlighted PCMag. This month alone, more than 500 users were banned.
Editor Neil Clarke said the stories, allegedly written by bots, had exploded and use "very obvious patterns": "To make matters worse, technology is only going to get better, so detection will become more challenging."
